Subject: Information pursuant to Art. 14 GDPR – Change of responsibility for orders placed/returns/warranty

Dear Marketplace customer,

In accordance with Art. 14 GDPR, we hereby inform you that Marketplace Amplifier GmbH (MAG, see responsible body) has transferred personal data relating to your past orders.
The reason for this is the transfer of the B2C business from TB International GmbH (TBI) to MAG (technically via Tradebyte/zDirect, among others). As a result, MAG will be responsible for handling returns, complaints, and warranty claims from these orders in the future.

What data we process (categories)

Identity/contact details: Last name, first name, delivery address
Order/transaction details: Order number, date, items/positions, returns/complaints reference, relevant communication history relating to the order

Where does the data come from (origin)?

The data was provided to us by TB International GmbH, Dr.-Robert-Murjahn-Str. 7, 64372 Ober-Ramstadt, Phone: +49 (0) 61 54 – 574 02 101, E-Mail: info@tbint.de; this company in turn received the order data from the respective marketplace (e.g. Zalando, About You, Amazon) for the purpose of processing your order.

What we use the data for (purposes)

Processing orders until September 30, 2025, returns processing, complaints, warranty claims
Refunds, subsequent deliveries, service communication
Compliance with statutory retention requirements (commercial/tax law)

Legal basis for processing

Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest of the company). Our legitimate interest lies in the proper continuation of after-sales service (returns/warranty) for orders taken over by TB International. This is also in your interest, as it allows you to continue to assert your rights in an uncomplicated manner.

(We do not use your data for advertising purposes unless you have expressly consented to this.)

Obligation to provide / Automated decisions

Internal departments of Marketplace Amplifier GmbH involved in processing (customer service, logistics, accounting, IT)
Service providers/processors (e.g., IT/hosting providers, logistics), in each case contractually
Marketplace partners (e.g., Zalando, About You, Amazon), insofar as this is necessary for processing

Transfers to third countries

No transfers to third countries or transfers to service providers; protection through EU standard contractual clauses and additional measures.

Storage period

We only store your data for as long as is necessary for the purposes stated:

until the expiry of statutory claims (usually 2 years warranty),
beyond that, only to the extent that statutory retention obligations exist (usually 6 or 10 years according to the German Commercial Code (HGB) or Fiscal Code (AO)). We then delete or anonymize the data.

Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, and objection to processing on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (Art. 15–21 GDPR).

Objection (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation.
Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g., the
